Coast Guard, beach patrol rescue 2 near Deal, N.J.
DEAL, N.J. – The Coast Guard and members of the Deal Beach Patrol rescued a man and one child from the water after their 20-foot boat capsized approximately one mile off the coast of Deal Tuesday.

DoD Identifies Marine Casualty
The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine who was supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
Gunnery Sgt. Adam F. Benjamin, 34, of Garfield, Ohio, died Aug. 18 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
He was assigned to 8th Engineer Support Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 2, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.
