Mt. Ephraim School District Holds Registration for Latch Key Program

The Mt. Ephraim School District will be holding an information and registration session for the district run latch key program for the 2009-2010 school year on June 4^th from 6:30 to 8:30. The information and registration session will take place at the Mary Bray School in the Media Center.

The Shining Star Program will be conducted out of the Mary Bray School. The hours for the program are 7:00-8:30am and 3:00-6:00pm (12:30-6:00pm on half days). Shining Star operates according to the school calendar and is open during school hours. If the school is closed for any reason the program is closed.

The latch key program is open to all Mt. Ephraim school aged students. The payment schedule is below. For further information please call 856-931-4134 extension 2.

CHEER-To Gloucester City High School softball team who beat $\"Letters$ Pitman High winning the NJSIAA South Jersey Group I final. The Lions were relentless, scoring runs in every frame and taking home the title in five innings, 10-0.

JEER-Recently it was reported that someone stole 100 political campaign signs in Gloucester City valued at $900. The person or persons responsible who committed this crime are depriving candidates their rights to Freedom of Speech guaranteed to all of us in the First amendment of the constitution. How dare them; I hope they are caught and severely punished.

CHEER-To the Market Street WaWa and its management for the fine work done to the expansion of their parking lot.

JEER-To the people that put their dogs out late at night and early in the morning to bark and keep us all awake.

In Your Own Words: Nick is The Man!

$\"Letters$ Over the past two and a half years I have had the honor of working with Nick on a few projects. Nick always brings to the table endless energy and knowledge, if he does not know something he will do the needed research. His drive is something that I have not seen in a council member in a long time.

I was with Nick when he closed the deal with Commerce Bank we had to meet them on site and go over the plans, the V.P. of Commerce needed decisions made and questions answered Nick was on his game and covered both. Although Chatham square is controversial, Nick has the knowledge and contacts to see this project to the end. With the city having new housing projects on line and code enforcement being an issue with rentals Nick beats his opponent hands down.

I feel that column 3 is the only choice to take us through the next three years, the ground work has been done for many projects and the whole team deserves the opportunity to finish what they have started.
