With the start of summer it is only fitting to announce a new state of the art fishing web site. Fishcrazed.com is a local forum bringing together both fishermen $\"Fish-crazed-logo-200x400-banner\"$ (and women) with industry professionals. The site is the creation of 2 local South Jersey lifelong recreational fishermen. The website intends to provide up to date fishing reports, weather reports and other areas of interest.

One of the creators was born and raised in Gloucester City. Tim Tedesco fishes in the Delaware Bay, Outer Banks, South Florida and anywhere else he can manage to get on the water.

Obama: Spirit of Memorial Day Must Extend Beyond Actual Observance

WASHINGTON, May 26, 2009 – America’s troops and their families embody what’s best in the country, and the American people have a responsibility to serve them as well as the troops serve the country, President Barack Obama said this weekend during his radio address to the nation.
Obama expressed hope that the spirit of Memorial Day will extend beyond the actual holiday observance.

He said he’s committed as president to honoring the nation’s \”sacred trust\” to those who wear or have worn the uniform – a trust he conceded it hasn’t always lived up to.
\”All too often in recent years and decades, we, as a nation, have failed to live up to that responsibility,\” he said. \”We have failed to give them the support they need or pay them the respect they deserve.\”

Part II: The Merging and Closing of Camden Diocese\’s Schools and Parishes

The Camden Diocese is closing and merging par-ishes, and also trying to consolidate Catholic ele-mentary schools, as part of its plan to make \”vibrant parishes,\” account for the lack of priests, and to save money.

Spokesperson Andrew Walton said a major study showed six priorities to invigorate parish life, and that \”Many parishes lacked the (financial) resources to advance those six pastoral priorities.\”

Bishop Joseph Galante is expected to announce the final merger plans within the next month.

Sotomayor Ruled That States Do Not Have to Obey Second Amendment

(CNSNews.com) – Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor ruled in January 2009 that states do not have to obey the Second Amendment’s commandment that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. In Maloney v. Cuomo, Sotomayor signed an opinion of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit that said the Second Amendment does not protect individuals from having their right to keep and bear arms restricted by state governments.

NICE JOB ON CEDAR GROVE

$\"17248\"$ Mr. Emery Bittmann does a great job taking care of Cedar Grove Cemetery. The person that complained must be crazy. Does this person know how much work goes into taking care of the cemetery. It would be nice if all the churches gave a dollar once a month to help. It is just two people that take care of the place. Let’s think about it, Cedar Grove has people of all faiths buried there because it is affordable.

There are veterans buried there also. What does the developer think if a cemetery is too old and not taken care of, will it become condos? Let’s give support to Mr. Bittmann.

LAKES ARE MUCH CLEANER

Cheers to the Lake Association. I know it seems like a hopeless job but, the lakes are so much cleaner and more attractive since the organization started. The fishing tournaments are just great. It’s nice to see our children enjoying the Lakes as we did. Kite flying, sledding, ice skating and fishing were just a few of the activities we enjoyed.

I was also lucky enough to be able to swim every summer day in the pond. The many amusements kept us busy all summer long. We played from dawn to dusk.
