Did you know it can cost more than $7 million to LOSE a Senate election? That means that even if you, me and everyone we know were to support our favorite candidates, we could easily be outspent by powerful interests.
Some say all that big money doesn\’t matter. Just last week Hans von Spakovsky, former Federal Elections Commissioner for the Bush administration, said \”Evidence that contributions substantially influence votes is almost nonexistent.\”
