Accident Victim Evan Goldglantz, of Gloucester City Succumbs

Evan Matthew Goldglantz, of Gloucester City passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009. Evan has been in the Crozer-Chester Medical Center Burn Center in Upland, Pa. since his accident on November 17. On that November afternoon he was installing a new kitchen floor in his home onDivision Street.To get rid of some construction debris he decided to burn it. A wind kicked up and a nearby gas can exploded onto Evan. He suffered third-degree burns. 

Over the past several months Evan, despite what had been a grim prognosis, has hung on through surgery after surgery, through infections, through a coma, through unbelievable pain.

Survivors include his wife Danielle (nee Salamon) Goldglantz. Father of Jaden, Ella and Jordyn Goldglantz. Son of Sheldon Goldglantz and Genevieve (nee Tintenfass) (Nick) Roberts. Brother of Chad Jacoby, Lia Roberts and Carla Roberts. Grandson of Mary & Chaim Tintenfass. Son-in-law of Stacey Hollander and Michael Salamon. Nephew of Harvey & Gayle Goldglantz. Great Nephew of Jules Tintenfass. Brother-in-law of Adam Salamon.

Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday beginning 2:15 pm to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Interment at the Locustwood Memorial Park. The family will return to the home of Genevieve and Nick Roberts. Contributions in his memory can be made to the Evan Goldglantz Family fund, P.O. Beloved Sister of Anthony John Kern of Schwenksville, PA and Gerald Kern of Cape May. Cherished grandmother of Kyle and Sean Donlin and Charlie Collins. Rose was born in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. She was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Rose received her Associate Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a claim adjuster for over 25 years from CIGNA Insurance Company in Cherry Hill. Rose was a devoted parishioner of Saint Mary’s R.C. Church in Gloucester City. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Friday from 10 to 11 am at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am in the church. Cremation and Inurnment private with her late parents in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham, PA. There will be no evening visitation nor visitation in the funeral home. On April 10, 2009. Age 64. Of Clayton. Formerly of the Cramer Hill Section of Camden. \"012608_2023_GloucesterC1\" Predeceased by his parents Ethel and Benjamin Wagner. Survived and cared for by his loving wife of 17 years, Florence (nee Jacobs). Beloved father of Christine Wagner. Dear Step-father of Kerri and Daniel Stanley. He leaves behind to cherish his memories, sisters, Cookie Traynham and Kathy Wagner (John) and brothers, Bill Wagner (Connie) and George Wagner (Darlene). Devoted pop-pop to Arianna Hadfield and Gage Doerr. Also leaves behind dear niece Beth Ann Wagner and nephews, Stephen Wagner, Bill Wagner, Jr., George Wagner, Benjamin Vautier and Daniel Vautier. Great-nieces and nephews, Keith Myers, Zoe Vautier and Devin Vautier. Frank was a 1964 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School in East Camden. After graduation he attended Morehead State College in Minnesota on a football and baseball scholarship. He was an avid sports fan who grew up playing baseball, football, and basketball in the Cramer Hill Boys Club. His love of football led him to coach the University of Pennsylvania lightweight team. Frank owned and trained racehorses for many years and loved being at the racetrack. But more than anything, he loved his \”Fighting Phillies.\” At the request of the family, cremation and services are private.
