Loving mother of Katherine Hudson of Blackwood NJ, Kristine McCaslin (John) of Carthage MO, Kimberly Capie (Daniel) of Blackwood NJ, and Linda Dudley (Mike) of Blackwood NJ. Dear sister of Joe Bartha (Veronica) of Williamstown NJ, and Debra Blackson (James E., Sr.) of Woodbury NJ. Loving Grandmother of Jacqueline and Kathryn Hudson, Johnny McCaslin and Isabella Capie. Dear GreatGrandmother of Connor Dunn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda was a loyal employee of Shoprite in Glassboro for many years and created many lasting friendships. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren, who were very special to her. Her viewing will be Tuesday, April 14^th, at 8:30 am until 10:15 AM at Earle Funeral Home, 122 W. Church St., Blackwood, NJ 08012. Her funeral Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes R. C. Church, 701 Little Gloucester Rd., Blackwood NJ 08012.

Accident Victim Evan Goldglantz, of Gloucester City Succumbs

Evan Matthew Goldglantz, of Gloucester City passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009. Evan has been in the Crozer-Chester Medical Center Burn Center in Upland, Pa. since his accident on November 17. On that November afternoon he was installing a new kitchen floor in his home onDivision Street.To get rid of some construction debris he decided to burn it. A wind kicked up and a nearby gas can exploded onto Evan. He suffered third-degree burns.

Over the past several months Evan, despite what had been a grim prognosis, has hung on through surgery after surgery, through infections, through a coma, through unbelievable pain.

Survivors include his wife Danielle (nee Salamon) Goldglantz. Father of Jaden, Ella and Jordyn Goldglantz. Son of Sheldon Goldglantz and Genevieve (nee Tintenfass) (Nick) Roberts. Brother of Chad Jacoby, Lia Roberts and Carla Roberts. Grandson of Mary & Chaim Tintenfass. Son-in-law of Stacey Hollander and Michael Salamon. Nephew of Harvey & Gayle Goldglantz. Great Nephew of Jules Tintenfass. Brother-in-law of Adam Salamon.

Relatives and friends are invited Tuesday beginning 2:15 pm to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, INC. 2001 Berlin Rd. Cherry Hill, NJ where funeral services will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Rose was born in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. She was a proud graduate of Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls in Philadelphia. Rose received her Associate Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She was a claim adjuster for over 25 years from CIGNA Insurance Company in Cherry Hill. Rose was a devoted parishioner of Saint Mary’s R.C. Church in Gloucester City. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her visitation on Friday from 10 to 11 am at Saint Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am in the church. Gloucester City: A Political Donnybrook on the Horizon

Although some in the Party will deny it, the 2006 feud between The New $\"Notebook_and_pen\"$ Democrats and The Old Democrats in Gloucester City continues. If you need proof just look at the number of names (29 in all) that will be listed on the June 2 Primary Election ballot. It is apparent there is a difference of opinion on the best way to govern the City. I have been told though this rift is unlike others that have occurred in previous years; this in fact is personal to some of the candidates.

The challengers this time are the OLD DEMS running under the slogan, Real Gloucester Democrats while the NEW DEMS are running under the banner Camden County Democrat Committee, Inc. There is one council candidate, Ray Coxe, former Democrat Party Chairman, running under the banner Experienced Democrat Leadership. The deadline for filing petitions for the Primary was April 6.

The divide between the two sides began three years ago when the now incumbent Mayor, Bill James, and his incumbent council members Nick Marchese, Jay Brophy had the nerve to challenge the old regime of Democrats backed by the Camden County Norcross Political Machine. The fact that these three political unknowns were able to up seat the Machine in the November election that year was a surprise to many.

Hostage Captain Was in \’Imminent Danger\’ at Time of Rescue

$\"Deadman_Pirate_flag\"$ WASHINGTON, April 12, 2009 – The captain of the Maersk-Alabama cargo ship held hostage by pirates off the coast of Somalia was in \”imminent danger\” when U.S. military snipers shot and killed his three pirate captors, a U.S. Navy commander said today.

Navy Vice Adm. William E. Gortney, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, provided preliminary details of the rescue mission that freed Capt. Richard Phillips today during a news conference.
