VAIL,Mary Ann (Snyder) Away from us April 3, 2009. Born May 24, 1924, River Rouge, MI. Daughter of Charles and Martha (Jaeger). A Downriver kid. Beautiful young woman; wonderful smile. Married George C. Vail 1944.

Pioneering post-war mom. Moved to Audubon, NJ in 1947. Family first and always. Small package; huge heart. There to love, support and guide. Fiercely protective of her brood. Selfless in spirit and deed. Kids\’ beacon for school, scouts, and sports. Driving force behind restoration and maintenance of the Cedarcroft Mansion in Audubon. Great travels with Evelyn and Miriam. Loved her birds and flowers. Always missed her mom. A life lived long and well. Bell Telephone Operator 25 years. Food bank volunteer; tireless community supporter.

Survived by husband George C. ; six children: Kathleen, Maureen, Terrence (Lorraine), Althea (David), Cynthia (Greg) and Scott (Neicy); 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; sisters Dorothy and Mildred. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to Senior Citizens United Community Services (SCUCS) of Camden County. The family wishes to thank devoted neighbors Kurt and Sharon Andress and the staff of the Virtua Marlton PCU for the wonderful care and compassion provided to our mom. Memorial service 5-8 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Henry Funeral Home, 152 W. Atlantic Ave, Audubon.

Mary V. Myers of Audubon

MYERS, Mary V. (nee-McSorley). On April 7, 2009, of Audubon, NJ. Age 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Norman W. Myers, Jr. Dear mother of Norman J. (Maryellen) Myers of Madison, AL, Mary Cattell and Gerilyn Myers, both of Audubon, NJ. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Marissa, Bob, Christine, Jay and Jennifer and four great grandchildren: Alexandra, Olivia, James and Kayne. Mrs. Myers was an avid bowler and active member of the Pennsauken AARP. She was also very devoted to her family.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Monday after 9 AM at the Church of St. Rose of Lima, 4th Ave. & Kings Highway, Haddon Heights, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM. Interment New St. Mary\’s Cemetery, Bellmawr, NJ.

KENNEDY, Stephen Sean Of Audubon, on March 29, 2009, age 36. Survived by loving parents Steven Kennedy, III & Denise (Robert) Hafele. Devoted father of Michael and his mother, Gina, fiance of Maria Sacchetti, life long friend David Keys, brother of Brandee (Timothy) Day, Kylee (George) Maxwell, uncle to; Ryan, Jake, Samantha, Luke and Katelyn; brother of Derrick Hafele. Survived by loving grandparents; Gertrude and the late Stephen Kennedy, Jr., Roger (Janet) Lindsley, Alice Keys, and Emme Hafele. Nephew of the Kennedy family: Kathy (Edward), Patty (Robert), John (Judy), Michael and David (Marie); nephew of the Lindsley family: Roger (Gail), Darryl (Christy), Kurt (Sandy) and David Robinson. Rose Marie Holland of Brooklawn member of The Medicare Club

HOLLAND, Rose Marie (nee Mount), 83, of Brooklawn peacefully passed away on April 5, 2009. LEGACY Rose will be fondly remembered for her powerful yet sweet nature that endeared her to her family and friends. Family was paramount to Rose who shared 65 loving years of marriage with her husband Robert.

Home was where Rose was happiest and her kitchen and loving arms were always opened to family and friends to break bread with and share good fellowship. Rose was a member of the Medicare Club; which was a group of local senior citizens that enjoyed each other\’s company on a daily basis at the Deptford Mall Food Court. Her loving presence among her family and friends will be sadly missed. FAMILY Rose is the beloved wife of Robert Holland; dear mother of Lillian M. (Carl) Kuni and the late Robert T. Jr ( Peg) Holland; dear sister of Angelo \”Pete\” Massaro, cherished grandmother of Rosemarie Pierce, Jennifer Fox, Kimberly Puholla, Amiee Holland , Carl W. Kuni, Jr., and Bret Holland. College Baseball: William Paterson Defeats Kean, 8-1

\"\" Union, N.J. (4/10/09) – Sophomore Mike Moran (Pompton Plains, N.J.) was 4-for-5 with a two-run homerun as William Paterson University swept the regular season series by defeating #5/12 Kean University, 8-1, Friday afternoon at Jim Hynes Stadium.

Southpaw Ryan Steidl (Randolph, N.J.) earned his first win of the season for the Pioneers (14-12, 6-3 NJAC). Steidl (1-1) tossed eight strong innings allowing just one run and six hits. He walked one and fanned four in the win.

WPU jumped on board with two runs in the top of the second. With runners on the corners, Marc Palestina (Paramus, N.J.) hit a ball in between second and third. Third baseman Nick Ramagli (Emerson, N.J.) held the runner at third initially and got the force at second.
