Howard was a Korean Conflict U.S. Army veteran, serving with the 82nd Airborne Division, Ft. Bragg, NC. He retired after 29 years as a supervisor with the US Postal Service, Bellmawr, NJ. Howard was a longtime member of the ICAC, Fairview, NJ, an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing and loved those Philadelphia Phillies.

Matrascia, 47, is charged with receiving stolen property, some of it allegedly from Runyan\’s Burlington County home. In 2007, authorities say, they found Runyan\’s stolen trailer and more of the popular lineman\’s belongings at Matrascia\’s large home in Bellmawr. Matrascia also is accused of having another trailer, allegedly stolen from Philadelphia, that police say was recovered in Pine Hill, also in Camden County.

After a slow start, Cherokee has shown recently why it was a preseason top-10 choice in boys\’ basketball by The Inquirer. The Chiefs (8-5) have won three in a row and six of seven and could improve with some reinforcements.

Frannie was 1933 graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School and was a member of the Phi Alpha Lambda sorority. She was the owner operator of the Venice Restaurant located at the corner of 7^th and Market Sts. an Italian Restaurant that was also the first Pizzeria in Gloucester City. She later worked for 18 years as the Food Service Supervisor at the Lakeland Complex in Blackwood. Frannie was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church in Gloucester and a member of the Gloucester City Sr. Citizens and the American Legion Post #71 Ladies Auxiliary.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday 11:00am at St. Mary’s Church 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Entombment to follow at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
