Lindenwold Police Investigating Home Invasion, Resident was Pistol Whipped

\"Police • Rasheed Mays of Lindenwold was arrested on warrants at the 500 building of Greentree Apartments and remanded to Camden County Jail.
• Joshua Sanders of Sicklerville was arrested at the 800 building Greentree Apartments and charged with simple assault then released on summons.
• A juvenile male was arrested at the 800 building Greentree Apartments and charged with obstruction. He was later turned over to his parents.
• Jason Davis of Lindenwold was arrested at the 1200 building of Arborwood and charged with distribution of CDS, Possession of CDS and Obstruction. He was later remanded to the Camden County Jail default of bail.
• A resident of the 1200 building of Arborwood reported that unknown person(s) fired three gunshots into the front of his apartment. The resident was inside lying on the couch when the incident occurred and was unharmed. The suspect(s) have yet to be identified and the investigation is on-going. If anyone has any information they are urged to contact the Lindenwold Police.
• A resident of the 2200 building of Greentree Apartments reported that four Hispanic males knocked on the door and when he answered the door the males began to assault him. The resident was pistol whipped during the incident and the males also broke the windows of his car with baseball bats. The suspect(s) have yet to be identified and the investigation is on-going. If anyone has any information they are urged to contact the Lindenwold Police.

David E (Eddie) Jackson Jr. of Marlton, age 51, past member of Boilermaker Union

Suddenly, on January 13, 2009. Of Marlton. Age 51. Loving father of Danielle M. Jackson, Heather Jackson, Adam K. Jackson and Bryan A. Jackson. David was a member of the Boilermaker\’s Union from 1984-2004, then became Mr. Fixit. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding ATVs. Most of all, he loved his children and grandchildren.

Gloucester City News 2008 Year in Review (Part 2)

13 – Power was knocked out for 16 hours in a large portion of Gloucester City after a vicious rain and wind storm last Saturday night. Using candles, Dori Wasko’s party, hosted by Cheryl Poulin, was still a big success.

20 – Harry F. Fox Jr., 46, of Gloucester was arrested for stealing approximately $52,000 from the City Little League when he turned himself in to Detective Mark Ridge on March 11.

The Public Works Committee announced that the 2008 Community Clean-Up Day was April 5.

Westville Borough Council listened to a report about how the elimination of certain electronic products from the waste stream would reduce the cost of tipping frees and help the Borough meet state recycling requirements.

City Council will address \”buy back\” of sick time and longevity in union negotiations.

27 – The Gloucester City Planning Board approved a resolution recommending that City Council designate Chatham Square Apart-ments and Gloucester Terrace Apartments as an area in need of redevelopment.

Mayor John Soubasis and members of Brooklawn Council went to Trenton with the intention of letting Governor John Corzine know about their objections to the reduction of, or non-existence of, state aid to the municipalities.

The Gloucester City High School marketing club \”Lions R Us\” presented a new shirt design for women faculty to the Board of Education.
