PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Gloucester City Urban Enterprise Zone Development Corporation of the City of Gloucester City, County of Camden, State of New Jersey in accordance with the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231 of the Laws of 1975 shall hold meetings every 1st Monday of the month at 4:00 pm (unless otherwise noted) for the Year 2009 in City Hall, 313 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, New Jersey as listed below:

RESOLUTION ADVERTISING ALL PUBLIC MEETINGS OF THE GLOUCESTER CITY PLANNING & ZONING BOARD

WHEREAS, the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, chapter 231 of the Laws of 1975 requires adequate notice of all public meetings and specifies the manner in which the same shall be accomplished and requires the publication of the time, date and place of said meeting.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning & Zoning Board of Gloucester City, County of Camden, State of New Jersey that the attached notice hereto and made part hereof, shall be published in the \”Philadelphia Inquirer,\” \”Courier Post\” and the \”Gloucester City News\” and posted by the Board Secretary in accordance with said Act.

Box filled on arrival at NJSP barracks

(Route 295 & Route 42)

L-33 and R-32 were dispatched to the NJSP Barracks for an investigation, on Battalion 303\’s arrival there was a smoke condition throughout the building and a full assignment was requested. The source was traced to the attic were crews located a blower motor had overheated and caused some insulation to smolder. The unit was secured and all units returned to service. Mutual aid from Runnemede, Westville and Mt Ephraim.

Memories 1952: Gloucester City Lions Club LL Team

The photo was taken in 1952, which was the first year the Gloucester City Little League played at the Johnson Blvd. Field. Prior to then the Little League Field was located where the old A&P and Acme were on Broadway (now the home of CVS and The Dollar Store). Led by Ed Williams, Dick Talley, Art Collins and Dave Copeland, we were the champs that year. Jimmy Stubbs was the manager and Ray Ford coach.
