CHEER-To Emily Erlink. Her 12th birthday was December 10th. At her request, her guests brought a bag of groceries instead of a gift to her party. She then took the bags of groceries to the food bank in Gloucester City. Way to go Emily! $\"Cheersjeers\"$

CHEER–The Bellmawr Junior Division Tri-County Conference Midget Football team concluded its season with a 14-13 Super Bowl win over Millville, giving the team its first Super Bowl championship. The team finished with a 10-1 record and division title this season.

JEER–To those public officials responsible for moving the Camden City Methadone Clinic to a new location near the border of Camden City and Gloucester City. \”They are creating a cast system by forcing the drug addicts on us\”, writes William H. John. \”The clinic should remain next to Cooper Hospital.\”

Cheer-To the Borough of Bellmawr for having the courage to erect a sign on Creek Road that Wishes Everyone A Merry Christmas. This may not be politically correct and it may offend some people — atheists and non-believers — but who cares. submitted by Frank Crosson

Father Johnston also served as an educator for many years. He was on the faculty at St. Joseph High School in Hammonton from 1971-74 and Wildwood Catholic from 1974-81. He was vice principal at Holy Spirit High School in Absecon from 1981-84, principal of St. James High School in Carneys Point from 1984-89 and principal of Gloucester Catholic in Gloucester City from 1989-99.

Wildwood boys beat Wildwood Catholic 51-33 in Boardwalk Basketball Classic

WILDWOOD – Though Wildwood High School has a long basketball season, casual fans pay particular attention at the beginning. For those in the Wildwoods, the game everyone wants to watch is the annual Wildwood-Wildwood Catholic boys game in the Boardwalk Basketball Classic at the Wildwoods Convention Center. The gym was filled Friday with local fans checking out the game to see if Catholic could extend its six-game winning streak over Wildwood. However, Catholic\’s young, inexperienced team couldn\’t match the size of the Warriors.

Chuckles: Doughboy Succumbs from pokes in the belly

Please join me in remembering a great icon of the entertainment $\"Cid_00d201c81fb293dd69206c7e53d8you\"$ community.
The Pillsbury Doughboy died yesterday of a yeast infection and trauma complications from repeated pokes in the belly.
He was 71.
Doughboy was buried in a lightly greased coffin. Dozens of celebrities turned out to pay their respects, including Mrs. Butterworth, Hungry Jack, the California Raisins, Betty Crocker, the Hostess Twinkies, and Captain Crunch. The grave site was piled high with flours.

Aunt Jemima delivered the eulogy and lovingly described Doughboy as a man who never knew how much he was kneaded. Doughboy rose quickly in show business, but his later life was filled with turnovers. He was not considered a very smart cookie, wasting much of his dough on half-baked schemes. Despite being a little flaky at times, he still was a crusty old man and was considered a positive roll model for millions.

Doughboy is survived by his wife Play Dough, three children: John Dough, Jane Dough and Dosey Dough, plus they had one in the oven. He is also survived by his elderly father, Pop Tart. The funeral was held at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.
