Georgia running back Knowshon Moreno could soar into the NFL

Soon after the mad dash around the playground, Bigos called Steve Antonucci, the coach at Middletown (N.J.) South high and told him about this kid who couldn\’t be caught. Five years later, after his final game for Middletown, Moreno had led his school to three straight state championships and rushed for 6,268 yards, the second most career rushing yards in New Jersey high school history. What\’s more, he set school track records in the 100 meters, the long jump and the triple jump.

The South Jersey Port Corporation has in its infinite wisdom decided that the Department of Homeland Security, The US Government TSA, The United States Coast guard and multiple other federal, county and state security and law enforcement groups don’t have the right to protect American Citizens.

The SJPC recently authorized the negotiation of sale or lease of a property for use as a methadone clinic in the City of Camden to replace an existing facility. The problem here is not that this facility needs to be replaced but the new chosen location.

Bloomsburg\’s Cooper Named Player of the Year by TD Club of South Jersey

BLOOMSBURG-Bloomsburg University junior corner back Jesse Cooper (Sewell, NJ/Washington Township) has been named the Division II Player of the Year by the Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey.

The Touchdown Club of Southern New Jersey was organized in 1968 to provide recognition to football players, cheerleaders, coaches and training personnel that hail from the southern New Jersey region.

Cooper emerged as one of the most dynamic players in the PSAC and the nation this season. Cooper finished first in the PSAC and sixth nationally in kickoff returns, averaging 30.65 yards per-return.

Hero saves wheelchair-bound S.J. woman from house fire

With no time to waste, Cooke wheeled her out to the curb, called for the fire department, and reentered the smoke-filled house to make certain there were no other people inside. The woman\’s grandson is a frequent visitor, Martin said. After clearing the house, Cooke returned to the woman\’s side as the blaze spread from the garage to the rest of the home.
