The biggest buck I ever bagged in 39 years of deer hunting.

The pictures do not do it justice. This deer was massive like a steer.

The meat was shared with the other hunters and came home on the plane.

We will have some today with our Thanksgiving dinner.

ROBERT A. HILLWIG of Gloucester City

A Memorial Candlelight Service was held for Robert A. Hillwig, 63, of Gloucester who died on November 12, 2008.

Surviving are his mother Alma Alloway; several children, grandchildren; and several brothers and sisters.

Charles B. Cramer Jr., age 76, of Vineland, born in Gloucester City NJ

Charles B. Cramer Jr., 76, of Vineland passed away suddenly Monday, Nov. 24, 2008, at home.

Charles was born in Gloucester City to the late Charles B. andPauline (Dyer)Cramer Sr., and lived in Vineland the past 14 years. Charles graduated from Woodbury High School Class of 1949. He was a U.S. Marine veteran, serving during the Korean War. Charles was a former sergeant for Ocean City Police Department, where he served for 15 years. After leaving the police department, he owned and operated several businesses on the boardwalk in Ocean City. Prior to retirement, he was employed as a forklift operator for Scott Paper Co. of Landisville. Charles was a member of American Legion Post No. 4 of Vineland. He had a passion for owning and racing thoroughbreds.

Charles was predeceased by first wife, Roberta (Bickerstaff) Cramer, in 1981; grandson, Brad Cramer, in 1985; and sister, Polly Furlong,in1996.

Survivors include his loving wife of 14 years, Mary (Vanneman) Weber-Cramer of Vineland; two sons, Charles \”Brian\” Cramer of Egg Harbor Township, and Robert Cramer and wife Kelly of Dennisville; daughter, Carol Sue Weygand and husband David of Belleplain; sister, Delores Sainsott and husband Paul of Austin, Texas; two stepsons, Daniel Weber and wife Janet, and Jeff Weber and wife Lisa, all of Vineland; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday from the Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home, 1024 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, with the Rev. David Laquintano officiating. Visitation hours will be from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charles memory may be made to Turning for Home, Race Horse Retirement Program, P.O. Box 300 Bensalem, PA 19020.

Arrangements were entrusted to Wainwright-Bernhardt Funeral Home of Vineland.

Camden City: Two Alarm Fire, One Firefighter Injured

Two Alarm Fire

Camden Firefighters responded to a fire at 442-444 Henry Building Supply.

The fire went to 2 alarms before being brought under control.

One firefighter was injured in the fire, the stores were occupied at the time of the alarm.
