As a result, Deptford was ready to insert freshman forward Amber Scott at keeper, and while Scott is a talented keeper, the move would have weakened the Spartans by removing Scott from the offensive attack.

By the time Franchi reached the sideline it was determined she was ready to re-enter the game. But since she was taken off the field, she was not eligible to return until Deptford had a possession during a stoppage of play.

Rather than take advantage of a weakened opponent, Williamstown coach Dan Torcasio instructed Braves\’ midfielder Shea Levi to kick the ball out of bounds on the restart, which would allow Franchi to return to net.

Audubon: Local Group Makes History

If you played on the Audubon Fathers Little League Team or; if you received an award from the Audubon Fathers; or you just grew up in Audubon then you were likely impacted by the work of the Audubon Fathers\’ Association. Since 1926 the Audubon Fathers Association has been dedicated to helping the youth in town.

This recently completed book chronicles the development of this local organization in Audubon from 1926 until the present. It shares
