Gloucester City: County Mosquitoes Spray Non Toxic Pesticide

Dear Bill and Residents of Riverview Heights,

I am writing this letter in response to questions I received two weeks ago regarding the spraying of pesticide by the Camden County Mosquito Commission in the Riverview Heights section of Gloucester City.

As a resident of the area where the event occurred I contacted the Agency and spoke to the supervisor Arthur Jamieson. He informed me that they had a complaint from resident/s of a high density of mosquitoes. He said that when they receive complaints and can determine a high level of mosquitoes they come out to the neighborhood in question during the evening and spray non toxic pesticide.

I mentioned to him that the fog from the pesticide created a bad smell and made it difficult for breathing. He assured me again that the pesticide they spray are Government approved and are not toxic. Before
