It is the largest deployment of New Jersey Army National Guard soldiers since World War II, said Maj. Gen. Mark A. Graham, commander of Division West.

Lloyd, 26, has been a well-known figure in South Jersey soccer circles for 12 years, if not longer. But it\’s one thing to be a star in high school, or even at Rutgers, where she was a four-time all-Big East selection.
It\’s quite another to score the only goal in the Olympic gold-medal game, and in overtime, to boot.

As many as 100 feral swine are ripping up golf courses, rooting through flower farms and generally making a mess of things in the swamps, forests and fields of Gloucester County. Thought to be descendants of domestic hogs freed from pens at least a decade ago, the belligerent boars have mentally and physically regressed and are no longer the familiar pink porkers slopping it up on lazy little farms.

Renee McCaffrey said that if her brother-in-law, North Brunswick police Lt. Christopher Zerby, had a premonition that he would pass away one week before he actually did, he would have wanted to take his sons, Tyler and Trevor, to Point Pleasant, he would have wanted to attend a family party, he would have wanted to eat clams with friends, and he would have wanted to take Tyler on a bike ride.
North Brunswick Police Lt. Christopher Zerby was described as a \”dedicated son,\” a \”family man\” and a \”cop\’s boss\” during his funeral Mass on Saturday, held at Our Lady of Peace Church in North Brunswick.
