Wayne A. Rogers, of Gloucester City, Vietnam Army Veteran

 

On July 30, 2008. Age 54. Of Gloucester City. Formerly of West Deptford. Loving husband of 14 years of Stacey M. Rogers (nee Bigi). Loving father of Wayne A., Jr. and Christopher Rogers, John and Angel Hammock. Loving grandfather of Samantha, Wayne, III, Aliyah and Nicolette. Dear brother of Patty Ann Herbert, Michael Rogers and Bernadette Jean Risenhoover.


Wayne proudly served our country during the Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. He worked many years driving trucks for American Asphalt.


Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Friday morning from 10 to 11:30 am at the Lighthouse Baptist Church: 811 Market Street, Gloucester City. Baptist service 11:30 am in the church officiated by Dr. Jim Doster.


Burial with Military Honors Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ. The family requests memorial donations in Wayne’s memory to Lighthouse Baptist Church at the above address.
