Ewing, NJ…The College of New Jersey men’s basketball team will compete on February 2 at New Jersey City University in a New Jersey Athletic Conference contest at 7 p.m. in the John J. Moore Athletic and Fitness Center on the NJCU campus (Jersey City, NJ).
Both TCNJ and NJCU’s coaching staff will be participating in the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers program slated for February 1-3.
The coaching staffs at both institutions will join other head college basketball coaches and their coaching staffs across the country as they wear sneakers with their game attire to show their support in the fight against cancer. National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) member coaches want to express the importance of cancer prevention and early detection.
Join NABC coaches and their staff members this weekend (Feb. 1-3) as they wear sneakers with their game attire to show their support in the fight against cancer. By wearing sneakers with their suits, participating coaches are drawing attention to the fact that while cancer remains a major health concern, we can all reduce our risk; for those who don’t smoke, control their weight, exercise, and maintain a healthy diet are the best ways to reduce the risk of cancer.
