Bill Connelly, formerly of Brooklawn, Gloucester Catholic Graduate, Founder of Colonial Wallcovering

Bill Connelly went home to be with our Lord on Dec. 19, 2007.

Born on April 24, 1940 in Brooklawn, N.J., he raised his family in West Deptford, N.J., until he retired to Naples, Florida in 1991.

Survivors are his wife of 49 years, Elaine; his four children, Janet, Shellie, Bill, Norman; his eight grandchildren and his brother Norman.

Bill was the founder of Colonial Wallcovering, a lifetime member of the Colonial Manor Fire Association and a member of the American Legion # 135 in Florida.

Bill¹s love of life and the beauty he saw in God¹s nature took his adventurous spirit camping, canoeing, fishing, hunting, boating and on motorcycle trips.

Family and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Bill¹s life at a memorial service on Jan. 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. to be held at the Southwood Baptist Church (11 Griscom Avenue, Woodbury).

Beloved son of James Seltzer and step-son of Karyn (Brown) Seltzer of North Carolina. Loving grandson of Bertha Dugan. Dear nephew of Steven Seltzer and Linda Burrow. Step-brother of Justin and Colin Emerle.

Private Services were held on Thursday Dec. 27, 2007 under the direction of the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, Woodbury.

Also survived by his mother IsabelAllen, 1 sister Sheila Murchell, 28 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

College Wrestling: Rider 11th of 50 at Midlands

EVANSTON, ILLINOIS—The Broncs are competing this weekend at the 45th Annual Midlands Wrestling Tournament, hosted by Northwestern University, with three wrestlers in the semi-finals and three in the consolation wrestle backs.

Senior Don Fisch (Williamstown, N.J./Delsea), the eighth seed at 149, will face the fifth seed, Jake Patacsil of Purdue in the semi-finals Sunday. Fisch defeated Grant Paswall of Illinois 7-3 in the quarter-finals. Fisch defeated Matt Cusick of Virginia Tech 3-0 in the round of 16. Fisch won a major decision (14-0) in the first round over Chris Szabolcs of Air Force and defeated Ashtin Primus of Missouri 7-2 in the second round.

Senior T.J. Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff), the fourth seed at 197, will face the top seed, Josh Glenn of American, in the semi-finals Sunday. Morrison defeated the fifth seed, Matt Koz of Tennessee-Chatanooga 3-1 in the quarter-finals. T. J. Morrison defeated CAA-foe Jon Oplinger of Drexel 3-1 in the round of 16 after defeating Alec Bonander of Luther 7-4 in the first round.

Junior 165 Jason Lapham (West Chazy, N.Y./Beekmantown) will face the fifth seed, Jon Reader of Iowa State in the semi-finals Sunday. In the quarter-finals Lapham defeated the eighth seed, Tim Palmer of Wisconsin-LaCrosse 3-1. Lapham defeated Benjamin Hoover of Nebraska 8-7 in the round of 16. Lapham received a first-round bye before defeating TH Leet of Iowa 4-2.

Junior Doug Umbehauer (Shamong, N.J./Lenape) won 7-1 in the consolations against Brendan Faust of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and will now face Josh Edmonson of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Umbehauer lost 3-1 in sudden victory to Phil Keddy of in the round of 16. The sixth seed at 184, Umbehauer received a first round bye before defeating Dave Sullivan of Pittsburgh 9-2.

Sophomore 174 Mike Miller (Wilmington, Del./Brandywine) was pinned (4:20) by the sixth seed, Jay Borschel of Iowa in the round of 16. Miller received a first round bye before defeating Mitch Artist of Iowa State 11-7, and will now compete in the consolations against Ryan Smith of Great Falls.

Junior Ed Bordas (Montgomery, N.Y./Valley Central) defeated Mike Sprigg of Army 7-4 in the consolations, and will now face Dustin Bauman of Northern Iowa. Bordas received a first round bye before losing 17-4 to the eighth seed, Nik Fekete of Hawk Wrestling Club.

Sophomore Rob Morrison (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) lost 5-4 in the 157 pound consolations to Clint Arlis of Illinois. Rob Morrison lost 7-4 in the first round to Emanual Brooks of Missouri.

In the 141 pound consolations, sophomore Fred Rodgers (Perkiomenville, Pa./Boyertown) lost 5-3 to Michael Bonora of Rhode Island. Rodgers lost 4-2 to Nick Shumate of Southern Illinois in the first round.

In the 133 pound consolations, junior Zac Cunliffe (Farmingdale, N.J./Howell) will face Steve Siokos of Harper. After a first round bye Cunliffe lost 9-0 to the #2 seed, Jim Kennedy of Illinois.

In the consolations sophomore 125 Tommy Lorenzo (West Orange) defaulted to Andrew Taylor of Dubuque. Lorenzo was pinned (1:28) by TJ Wunnicke of Northern Illinois in the first round.

The Broncs placed a best-ever 13th at Midlands last year, with Umbehauer finishing runner-up and T.J. Morrison placing fifth.

Brute Sunshine Open: TCNJ THREE CHAMPS AND THREE RUNNERS-UP

Lakeland, FL… The College of New Jersey wrestling team wrapped action on Saturday at the 2007
Brute Sunshine Open at the Lakeland Convention Center. After two days of competition in the non-
team scored event, TCNJ produced three champions, three runners-up, a fourth place finisher
and a sixth place finisher. Defending event champion, Augsburg College (MN) produced only two
champions, while Delaware Valley College also had three champions at the event. The
21-team competition featured four of the nation’s top ten ranked teams in Division III, including
No. 1 ranked Augsburg College (MN), #4 Heidelberg College (O), #6 Delaware Valley College and
the #8 ranked Lions of TCNJ.

Capturing the championship at their respective weight classes for the Lions were freshman Justin Bonitatis (Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill East) at 165 pounds, junior Greg Osgoodby (Waldwick, NJ/Waldwick) at 174 pounds as well as sophomore Dan DiColo (Budd Lake, NJ/Mt. Olive) at 157.

TCNJ’s second place finishes were earned by junior Al Wonesh (Columbus, NJ/Northern Burlington) at 165 pounds, freshman Kyle Kinchen (Jackson, NJ/Jackson) at 125 pounds, and senior heavyweight Steve Carbone (Cranford, NJ/Cranford), while rookie John Barnett (Oak Ridge, NJ/Jefferson Township) took fourth at 149 pounds and junior Jon Biango (Waldwick, NJ/Waldwick) picked up a sixth place in the 165 pounds weight class.

Bonitatis was a perfect 5-0 for the tournament with a pin in the second round, while DiColo added a 4-0 performance for the weekend. Osgoodby also was 4-0 with a technical fall win and a major decision, while Kinchen and Wonesh both went 3-1 for the tournament. Carbone picked up a 4-1 record for the event as TCNJ had another impressive tournament showing.

Eleanor Radlinger, 63, of Brooklawn; Employed by Macy\’s Security Dept. for 26 years

RADLINGER, ELEANOR C.

On December 26, 2007,(nee Kubala), of Brooklawn, NJ, age 63.
She is the beloved wife of Jack Radlinger and loving mother of Walter Robert Radlinger (Paula), Cherrie Hammer (Donald) and Lisa Radlinger. Her dear grandchildren Kevin, AJ and Jack, brothers Edward (Fran) and John (Ruth) Kubala, sister-in law Shirley Watson, brother-in law Kenneth Radlinger (Sandy) and many dear nieces and nephews also survive her.
Eleanor was employed in the Security Dept. of Macy\’s in Cherry Hill for over 26 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Powell St. in Gloucester City.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM at St. Maurice Catholic Church, 401 Community Rd., Brooklawn, NJ. Interment will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. There is no evening viewing.

Margaret H. Heyne, 91, of Mt. Ephraim; 1st Presbyterian Church parishioner


(nee Horner) On December 27, 2007, age 91. of Mt. Ephraim, NJ.
Beloved wife of the late Harold Heyne. Devoted mother of Lynn and son-in-law Tom Spina of Somerdale, NJ and the late Stephen Heyne. Loving grandmother of Elizabeth and Brian Spina. Dear sister-in-law of Elizabeth Horner of Cape May. Special friend of Dorothy Spina of Glassboro and John Gasparon of Mt. Ephraim. Also many nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Heyne was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Haddon Heights, NJ. She loved to travel, bowl, participate in church groups, good cook, great apple pies. She also enjoyed knitting & crocheting. Margaret will always be remembered as kind, lovely, compassionate and loving.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend her viewing Monday from 9:30am to 10:45am at the First Presbyterian Church 28 7th Ave. Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. Funeral Service Monday 11am at the Church.
