Raymond Alexander SHUSKO,Age 79. Of Boynton Beach, Florida. Formerly of Gloucester City and Runnemede. Died Monday morning, September 24, 2007 at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Ray had lived in this area since 1988, coming from Runnemede, NJ where he completed 29 years of service for the U.S. Postal Service before retiring at the young age of 60. Prior to living in Runnemede, Ray along with his family lived in Gloucester City for 14 years.
Raymond was a lover of the sunshine, music and movies of any kind, collecting recipes to try and any museum anywhere. Most of all he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Pauline Shusko (nee Lind); daughter and son-in-law, Andrea Shusko and Bob Perlman and granddaughter, Hannah of Northfield, MA; and son and daughter-in-law, Alex and Susan Shusko and grandchildren, Alex and Jessica of Laguna Beach, CA. Andrea and Alex were both former graduates of Gloucester City High School. He was the beloved brother-in-law, uncle and cousin of many family members in the New Jersey / Pennsylvania area and a cherished friend of many in the Boynton Beach Community.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his Memorial Service and Celebration of Life on Saturday, November 10, 2007 at 2 pm at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, (at Brown Street) Gloucester City.
