Evelyn A. Broadwater, of Gloucester City; Former Aide at West Jersey Hospital

On October 2, 2007 (nee Finger) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 75. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Broadwater and loving mother of Betty Cheetham, Catherine Park, John Jacobson, Allen Jacobson and the late Harry Clark, Jr. She is also survived by her two sisters Marion Hans and Gladys Keebler, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren, and was predeceased by many brothers and sisters,

Evelyn had worked as an aide at West Jersey Hospital and was a Deptford Mall Walker.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30am at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 Powell St., in Gloucester City.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00am at St. Mary\’s Church 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Interment to follow in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veteran Cemetery, Arneytown, NJ.

Susan Leonard, of Washington Twp., age 50

LEONARD, SUSAN DIANNE
(Nee Bazzel). Went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2007, of Washington Twp. Age 50.
Beloved wife of Jeffrey Leonard. Loving mother of Andrea Targonski (Ed) and Kerrey Leonard. Daughter of Sue and the late Albert Bazzel. Sister of Albert Bazzel (Robin), Karen Styer (Darryl) and Robert Bazzel (Wendy). Also survived by her father- and mother-in-law, Roy and MarieLeonard, brothers- and sisters-in-law Roy Leonard (Marie), Mark Leonard (Melinda), Barbara Dudas (Dwight), Julie Balkenhol (George), Robert Leonard (Eileen), RichardLeonard (Deana) and Amy Safko (Greg). Susan was a devoted aunt to her 25 nieces and nephews.
Susan was a 1975 graduate of Washington Twp. High School, where she was active in the Marching Band andNational Honor Society. She earned the prestigious Bach Medal from the National Piano Guild. Susan was given the gift of music from her father, who taught her piano.
She received her BS in Business from Rowan Univ. and earned her CPA in 1995. She will be missed by her former co-workers at Protocall, where she worked as a controller.
She was an active member of St. John\’s United Methodist Church and was very much loved by her church family. She was a faithful servant of God. Susan will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her unwavering faith and her love to her family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 6:00 – 9:00pm and Saturday 9:00 – 10:00am, followed by her Funeral Service, at St. John\’s United Methodist Church, 149 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Interment HillcrestMemorial Park, Washington Twp.

Ralph Sullivan Jr., WWII vet, of Gloucester City

SULLIVAN, RALPH JOSEPH, JR.
Suddenly, on October 2, 2007, age 88 years, of Gloucester City.
Beloved husband of the late Beatrice F. (nee Nacey). Adored father of Bunny Bailey (John) of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Patricia Probst (John) of Cherry Hill,Kathy Watson (Jim) of North Wales, PA, Margie Sullivan of Gloucester City and Susan Lyons (Jerry) of Sewell. Grandfather of Jennifer Probst, Jim and Jeffrey Watson, Vanessa and Mark Sullivan, and Erin, Jerome and Christopher Lyons. Loving brother of Mabel (Martin) Passeri and Marion (the late Isadore) Cantera, and the late James (Patricia) Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to Edna Jeffers of Glassboro. Edna was dad\’s healthcare aide for over a year and took special care of dad until his last days.
Ralph was a World War II veteran serving with the US Navy where he was awarded the American Theater and Victory Medals and was a member of St. Mary\’s Parish for 65 years. Ralph was an avid fisherman and loved ballroom dancing with his wife Bea. He was fond of walking, being outdoors and casino bus trips. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.
Relatives and friends of the family may call Saturday, 10:00am-12:00noon at St. Mary\’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030 where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00noon. Interment New St. Mary\’s Cem., Bellmawr.
