Gloucester City PAL Three on Three Winners

The Gloucester City P.A.L. held it’s 11th Annual 3 on 3 Tournament on March 24 and 25, 2007.

There were approximately 200 participants. It was a huge success.

The PAL would like to thank the following for their help: Gloucester City Board of Education for the use of Cold Springs School, the janitors who helped clean up the gym each day, Ken Eller, Doug Ziegler, Bob Lee, Bill Johnson, Bud Blackiston, Kathy Matkowski, Mike Niedzwiadek, Mike Matkowski, Louisa Llewellyn, BFR Awards. Obit Wm. McFadden of West Deptford

MCFADDEN, WILLIAM J.
Of West Deptford, 84, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2007.
Bill was born in Philadelphia, and raised in Camden. He was a WWII veteran where he courageously defended our country in the U.S. AirForce. Bill graduated from Temple University and earned advanced degrees from Rutgers University and Glassboro State College.
He influenced the lives of so many young people either while coaching or officiating numerous sports, and as a teacher and principal in Gloucester and Camden counties. Away from his work, Bill was the first manager of the Greenfields Swim Club. He also enjoyed golf, skiing, watching the horse races but most of all he enjoyed time spent with his wife, children and grandchildren. Bill was a role model and will be remember for his quiet leadership and understanding ways. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Virginia (nee Civetta).
Loving father of Karen Shier, Kim (Robert) Horner, Kevin (Audrey) and Keith (Lee) McFadden. Dear brother of Peggy (James) Carmody and the late Joseph (Jessie) and John McFadden. Devoted grandfather of 9. Best friend for over 70 years to Alex \’Swoose\’ Chew.

Obit Milton Gottlieb, formerly of Audubon

GOTTLIEB, MILTON G.
on March 25, 2007, of Gibbsboro, formerly of Audubon Park. Age 96.
Beloved husband of 72 years of Jeannette S. (nee Woolston). Devoted father of Ione Wilson and her husband S. Robert, Donna Davis and her husband Ralph and Milton Gottlieb and his late wife Monica. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Mr. Gottlieb was a member of St. Gregory\’s RC Church and the South Jersey Deaf Senior Citizens Club. Those who knew him will always remember he and his wife holding hands, as well as his smiling face and upbeat personality.
There will be a viewing from 10am to 12noon Thursday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral Service 12noon at the funeral home. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson. Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Gottlieb\’s memory to Lighthouse Hospice, 1040 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
