VAN GEMERT, GEORGE C.
On March 9, 2007, age 86 years, formerly of Audubon, NJ. He was the brother of Evelyn Duggins of Mt. Laurel, Charles and his wife Catherine of Voorhees, and the late Carl. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
Mr. Van Gemert retired from Conrail and was a WW II US Marine Corps Veteran.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service Saturday, 11:00 AM in the ALLOWAY FUNERAL HOME, 315 E. Maple Ave., Merchantville, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mr. Van Gemert\’s memory may be made to a charity of the donor\’s choice.

In remembrance of a 23-year-old firefighter who died from a rare childhood cancer last year, the Collingswood Fire Department is sponsoring an event to raise money for cancer research on Sunday.

The event is one of more than 300 events nationwide where residents are called to shave their heads to help raise money for St. Baldrick\’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that started in 2000.

Volunteers are recruited to have their heads shaved in public in return for pledges of financial support.

The event will beat the Collingswood Grand Ballroom at the Scottish Rite Auditorium, 315 White Horse Pike, Collingswood. Registration begins at 11 a.m. and shaving starts at noon on March 18.

(Affectionately known as \’T\’) of West Collingswood, suddenly on March 12, 2007. Aged 21 years.
\’T\’ was born in Camden and was raised in West Collingswood. He attended Haddon Township High School where he enjoyed playing soccer. \’T\’s\’ true passion was for cars-whether working on his Chevy Cobalt SS or at work at Valley Forge Automotive in Oaklyn- it was truly when he was the happiest.
He is the beloved son of Anthony J., Jr. and his companion Suzanne; and the late Cindy Lee Patti (nee Sharp); loving brother of Christina Williams, Russell Williams and Jennifer Patti; devoted grandson of Lorraine Sharp (nee Scherer) and the late Alvin Sharp, Anthony J. Patti, Sr. and Lucy Patti; dear godson of Judith Logan and godson & nephew of the late Joseph Patti and loving uncle to Matthew.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thurs. 6:30-9 PM and Fri. 9-9:45 AM in the McGUINNESS FUNERAL HOME, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury. Funeral Services Fri. 10 AM in the Funeral Home. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.

Loving father of Jennifer DeLauter (Daniel Gilosa) and Joshua DeLauter. Devoted son of the late Edwin and Eyleen DeLauter. Beloved brother of Brenda D. Hall of GA, Gregory DeLauter of PA and Stephanie Cunningham. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Mitch was a football coach for the Haddon Twp. Tigers for 7 years.
