Bill
As Publisher/Editor Emeritus I would suggest you explain to TuRt Kilcourse the meaning of the term euphemism. My review of your jeer comment clearly shows you know the City owns the lot. At a council meeting I recall Mr. Kilcourse referring to the area where he lives as \”his block\”. Did he use that term as a euphemism or did he make a TOTALLY FALSE STATEMENT and try to make the audience believe he owned the entire block?
Maybe we were paying his confidential secretary to explain the writings of others to him. But we will never know, after all that\’s confidential.
Bill, pay no attention to him, he failed all the same courses as my> brother \”J\”. But he also passed the ATTITUDE course.
Sincerely
Rub-A-Dubb Dubb
PS I looked all over for that R that you left out of Pearl\’s name but
never could find it.
Re: Kilcourse\’s Remarks……
Is it \”We\” the City residents and business\’ that own the parking lot,
or is it \”We\” the City politicians own the parking lot in question on
King St.? How about any \”City\” owned property? I\’m guessing that the
politicians take tax money, spend it to \”improve\” parking in a
neighborhood, then politicians take the same \”improvements\” like the
Ft. Nassau Park away. There is one thing that is a True Fact when it
comes to Gloucester City Politics, \”THE TRUTH HURTS!\”
I seem to remember True Facts like Oh Hara\’s paying $10,000.00 towards
the \”Public Parking Lot\” that \”This Business\” was specifically \”Taxed\”
for improvements to the area parking, and another business owner
\”Michael Mitchell\” paying over $2,000.00 towards that same parking lot,
so would these business\’ get this money back, and what\’s next, if Holt
needs more space, since it has been pushing out the volunteers, I guess
you can just give Holt the Fire Dept. on King St. and just move out
into Gloucester Heights. That lot is usually pretty full, from both
residents and business\’ but who cares about residents and small
business\’ anymore in this town, when we have Bigger Business\’ to cater
to, and I would bet with pretty good odds, that Holt has made campaign
contributions to at least one side, can both sides come clean about it?
True Fact or Closed Door Politics? \”THE TRUTH HURTS!\”
I would rather be lied to, at least I know the Facts aren\’t the Facts,
when politicians start to tell the \”Truth\” it\’s too confusing for us
Citizens! I\’ve heard that when politicians tell the truth, it takes too
many months to lie their way out of it! Stalemate, are we going
anywhere? I can\’t imagine how next years budget is going to look, I
personally think it\’s going to implode under the direction of financial
blunder.
We need to import some Delaware Politicians from the Governor on down,
Sales, Income, and Property Taxes 20 minutes from here only 3 counties
and they seem to be doing something right. Why can\’t NJ seem to get it
right?
